Terms of Service

Welcome to our cloud file storage and archiving service (hereinafter referred to as "service"). We're delighted to have you on board. Please take a moment to read through our terms and conditions, as they govern your use of our service. By accessing or using our service, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Service Description and Purpose

  • Our service is designed to provide you with a secure and efficient solution for archiving, sharing, tracking modifications, syncing, and collaborating on documents.
  • We offer end-to-end encryption to safeguard the privacy of your documents.
  • The service operates on an annual subscription model.

2. Fair Use Policy

We believe in fostering a respectful and responsible community of users. To maintain the integrity and purpose of our service, the following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Sharing copyrighted movies, videos, or other media without proper authorization.
  • Sharing or distributing explicit adult content or pornography.
  • Engaging in any form of hate speech, discrimination, or harassment.
  • Promoting or participating in any illegal activities, including but not limited to hacking, fraud, or unauthorized access to others' accounts.
  • Transmitting or distributing malicious software, viruses, or any other harmful code.
  • Excessive use of the service outside its intended purpose.
  • Spamming, phishing, or engaging in any activity that compromises the security or privacy of our users.

We reserve the right to take appropriate action, including the closure of accounts, in response to violations of this Fair Use Policy.

3. Free Plan

We are offering a free tier of our service. The following limitations apply:

  • A particular quality of service is not guaranteed.
  • Limitations to the usage of the service (e.g. provided storage space) are applicable, which may be changed without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to close accounts without prior notice.

4. Subscription

  • When you subscribe to our service, you enter into a 12-month subscription agreement.
  • This subscription is automatically renewed unless canceled at least 1 month before the next renewal date.
  • The subscription fee is billed at the start of each subscription period.

5. Payment

  • Payment for your subscription is due within 30 days of the billing date (payment due date).
  • Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension of account access.

6. Service Level

We are committed to providing you with a reliable service.

  • While we strive for 99.9% availability, occasional downtime may be necessary for maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Your sensitive data is stored using end-to-end encryption unless you chose not to. Sensitive data is defined as the file names, file paths, and file content of stored files. End-to-end encryption ensures that your data cannot be accessed without your password or recovery key. We cannot recover your data if both are lost.

7. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
  • The parties agree that, for all disputes arising from or in connection with this contract, to the extent permissible by law and when both parties are businesses, the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nürnberg, Germany apply.
